My husband and I are self-employed and our health insurance from our previous employer is being terminated 04/01. We need a low premium, obviously, and preferably a low deductible. I am also looking for a plan that would help cover maternity once we are going to start a family. None of the plans that I have seen so far cover any of that. I have quotes from American Family and Blue Cross/ Blue Shield. Any advice?

Hi, i am disabled but no eligible for my states medicade program. I am applying for SSD but it will most likely take several years and I am not sure that you even get medicare right away even when you do win your case. In any case I cant wait that long to get medical help, so I need to purchase private health insurance. I did look at a website that gives quotes and compares national health insurance companies and I want to go with a EPO instead of an HMO for sure but I dont know which one would necessarily be th best to go with.

Now that Clinton is going to officially withdraw from the race and had a meeting with Obama, there is, of course, speculation about a possible Obama/Clinton ticket. I recently turned 18 and moved in with my boyfriend. I then signed up for mass health because i needed to be covered. My mom has Blue Cross Blue Shield and I am still under her health insurance. When I turn 19 I wont be under it anymore because I wont be in school. Do one of us have to take me off of the insurance?

Right now, I don’t have a job. My GF does, but she has no healthcare. She’s running out of a drug called Effexor XR for depression. She’s tapering off of it right now, and going through horrible withdrawal symptoms. She doesn’t like being on it, but she doesn’t like being off it either. She probably needs a different anti-depressant, but what she really needs is to talk to a professional. With no money, no healthcare, a past of severe emotional issues and drug abuse, a long waiting list at Net Care, and going through a very rough time right now, she really needs to find someone who can help her quickly. Can you give me any info that will be helpful? Thank you.
