What do you honestly think about Socialism? This is an honest question. My grandfather is form Holland and they are a mild Socialist country compared to Socialist Russia and this current bill sound a lot like their health care program, in fact a lot of Obama’s ideas future policies are very similar to the way Holland governs. Just curious because it seems as though a lot of americans don’t like capitalism any more.

This is govt choice.
You can do govt health care of private health care. It is no more socialism than mailing parcels by Fed Ex because of the existence the USPS.
What I do not understand is how you could think that is socialism.
What I am guessing is that you want high health care prices.

Of course this is socialism. How is it not? The tax hikes and health care plan are a redistribution of wealth. Who pays for the socialist health care? The tax payers. Which means that everyone pays for everyone else’s healthcare, which is the very definition of a socialist healthcare plan. Its not free. The wealthier americans will pay more to help the lower classes. With this new healthcare plan, doctor’s will make less money. It costs roughly $400,000 to go through medical school. I am currently on a medical track, and it is anticipated approximately $600,000 grand total for me to finish. With that kind of expense Doctor’s need the financial insentive. If you think that there is a shortage of doctors now, imagine how bad it will be when doctor’s cannot recoup their educational investment. It doesn’t matter how cheap healthcare is if no one is there to fix you.

I support Health care reform. I think the current health care for profit system we have today has become too expensive and is not providing everyone quality care. Capitalism has its place…it is alive and well in the auto industry…and just about every facet of life in the US. BUT I find it offensive that capitalism have become so ingrained in the health care system that people are denied procedures that could save their lives…yet they die! Capitalism is putting money above human life and that is not acceptable.
This health care for profit system was introduced in 1971 by Edgar Kaiser selling the concept to Richard Nixon, a corrupt Republican President. Almost 40 years later and this scam has become unmanageable and threatens to severely burden the American people by increasing the National Debt to an unmanageable level. It is pure greed at the expense of the taxpayers and the health of the American people. NOT acceptable.
