  1. mopar Mike aka tea party mobster

President Obama is well on his way to being our greatest president ever, and I think he is amazing. The jibjab parody of him is mighty close to accurate (in case anyone wants to check it out), depicting him as a superhero (with big ears, of course..lol) handling all sorts of catastrophes at once while keeping his cool—love it! He shows tremendous political courage (which most politicians of either party tend to lack) by standing up to powerful and wealthy would-be foes (like the AMA, which endorses his health care plan, and the greed-driven insurance giants to broker an $80 billion deal to help senior citizns). President Obama, I predict, will surpass even Bill Clinton who saved us after the Reagan/Bush and Bush/Quayle devastation to our economy (foreign ownership of banks/BCCI, Iran-Contra mess, the collapse of the savings and loan industry, loss of our manufacturing jobs through massive outsourcing—same as under Bush/Cheney–and record numbers of homeless families and veterans, etc.). When Bill Clinton left office, even after the vicious and constant propaganda heaped upon both him and Hillary (Brock, 2004) and the Gingrich shutdown of government because of a pout that he couldn’t enter Air Force One through the door of his choice (Flynt, 2004), we had a $271,000,000,000 surplus, 2.2 million new jobs, and a deficit reduced by $362,000,000,000 (pp. 128-129). The propaganda that keeps trying to say Republicans are good for the economy has been proven false with the last three Republican administrations with their vicious “starve the beast” trickle-down/deregulation economic policies. Democrats are better for the economy and better for the people of this nation, and Barack Obama will save us from the brink of ruin, returning this nation to stability, strength, prosperity, and respect from around the world. He is working his way to becoming a truly beloved leader.

  2. Armchair Goddess

I hate, loathe and despise Barack Obama. I have been through a lot of Presidential administrations, but there has never been any political figure I have despised more. Or even nearly as much. And that goes for Richard Nixon, and I was a full fledged Democrat at the time! The idea that some people compare Obama to John Kennedy makes me want to spit. I keep seeing people on here saying they don’t hate Obama because they don’t know him. You don’t have to know Barack Obama personally to know the kind of man he is – just pay attention, he shows his true colors every time he opens his mouth. If anything, we are seeing his “good” side.
Armchair, honey, I feel truly sorry for you and the crushing disappointment someday when your eyes open up, or you actually read some non-revisionist history.
    Change, amen!

Love everything he is doing. Everything Arm Chair Goddess is saying is true. Bill Clinton may have been one of our best presidents every, but Barack has an even bigger problem, given by the Republican’s trickle down theory of politics, then Bill Clinton did. Everyone focuses on the cheating (Sanford voted to impeach him) and they don’t focus on the great things he did for us. 271 billion dollars up from where we were after the devastation of the Bush/Quayle administration, and the Reagan administration. Neither were willing to work with Congress like Bill Clinton and Barack Obama are. There was no hope until Obama was elected. The stimulus he has passed has helped stabilize the states one by one and is still taking effect. You Republicans may judge him after he is done with his two terms.

  4. I'm a Liberal

Neither, but his domestic agenda is as nutty as a fruitcake in my opinion. He’s certainly driving the economy into the dumpster at about the quickest clip I’ve ever seen and I’ve been around quite a while.
I can say honestly that I hate his domestic agenda and so far, I find him appearing weak in foreign policy matters.

  5. Libertarian is crushing ACORNs

Armchair Goddess speaks the truth. She speaks with great knowledge and insight that some do not possess. She like I can see where this president is going and for all you Chicken Little’s out there, the country is not going to be destroyed by Obama. His leadership will no doubt change the way we do business around here bu, Look around. Even you should be able to see it is time for some change. He has a long row to hoe and it would do us good to re-examine the way we are hating and jumping to conclusions about a very hard working and sincere person. Armchair, will you marry me?????

personally I think hes stupid for thinking he can take care of a country for having no experience in politics other than sitting in a chair of the senate. now he is getting all pissy because his loans and plans for economic and fiscal relief arent making an affect yet. hello! if they work..its going to take years before we see results. if the plans dont work…then were going to be even worse off because then we will have to pay out that money that China loaned us in 3 years time!

I despise his incompetence, his upside down management style, his spending habits, and the fact that he is yet to step down as president, because he’s unqualified to do the job.
I will like him a lot more when he is in exile !

Both love and hate are inappropriate feelings to have if you are patriotic and have respect for your country. Respect for the office, is the term I would use.

I despise, dislike, loathe and hate his politics and beliefs, not the man himself. He means less than nothing to me on a personal level. I hate what he and those of his ilk are doing to my country.

I hate him. I hated him prior to being elected but now it is so fierce that I can’t even begin to describe it. It’s not some blinding rage, it’s just plain FURY.
