13 Jan

How long before one of these “super-conservative evangelists” moves hate speech into a fully fledged terrorist attack?

All everyone does is complain about obama, if its that big a deal people should run for office themselves or go support their political party or do something to make a change for what they believe in. Hating on our president like this just makes us weaker as a nation, I didn’t like Bush but you didn’t see me complaining every single day and wishing death upon him. Hopefully people come off their religious high realize that we have it better in this country than almost anywhere else in the world.

1n354a – While using the index and middle finger, you show a V sign. With the palms facing away it’s a peace sign, the palm facing inward it’s directed as an insult. It’s very easy to make that mistake even if you living in a country that uses both (because I do).Top players really matter? So what happens if a third world nation is shown to have massive military forces? They didn’t matter before, right? But now he wont have anyone to relay information.

it is easy to make a mistake and if mistakes are made by those who are familiar with a culture then they are surely made by those who are not. for the regular joe this doesn’t matter much, but for a head of state, the standards are raised. I’m not saying that he has to be perfect all the time, but if he makes the same mistake multiple times in a short period then something is wrong and his advisers are not doing their jobs. if bush had continually used the incorrect gesture after being….

advised of his faux pas would you have shrugged it off as “he just doesn’t know”? I would have faulted him on not paying attention to what he is doing. Again, that is just my opinion and my expectations when it comes to the behavior of a head of state (any head of state). It is apparent that you and I don’t share the same expectations.

…on staff who is able to advise him on how he should and should not act (even a person who is just a conduit to those who do know) is irresponsible. your position only allows for the leader I described…unless you would like to adjust your position any? no? well then…
