Rachel Maddow: Charm Offensive

McCain-Palin Campaign uses charm in public while engaging in nasty smear. McCain used to call robocalls “hate calls.” He now uses them.

Only, for the most part it’s not working… so how does that make us stupid?

we shall see what works and what doesn’t work november 5th. The vicious attacks are working with a disturbingly large segment of the population- although, as you point out, many people are utnred off by them- I guess that’s a reason to be cheerful. Now, if only I can convince progressives to STOP voting for democraps… then we can really make some progress

I don’t think McCain thinks about anything that doesn’t appear to work directly in his self-interest.

Has McCain thought of the impact it could have on a child who happens to hear the message or pick up the phone. If a young child were to hear Bomb, Terrist, Kill babies, etc. This could harm a child emotionally. This is so sick and this should be stopped and should disqualify him as a republican candidate. Young children could be listening to these messages. This is a shame. McCain has no shame and is inconsiderate. I am so disappointed the RNC would allow this kind of hatred.
