    i didn’t like either candidate, but the notion of Sarah Palin being a heart attack away from the presidency was enough to make me hope Obama won

    I admit I backtracked- so shoot me!As for cohesive sentences- YES! They are a requirement whenever you’re addressing someone. Speaking in broken English is why our age group is so unbelievably dumbed down.
