No. You know full well if Obama had answered 3 questions in a row PRIOR to the questions ever being asked AND if Obama asked ‘when are we gonna get back to the supreme court judges” when nothing had been mentioned about ANYTHING to do with supreme court judges, that hannity, limbaugh, and everyone else would be ‘outraged’ and foaming at the mouth….look at the transcript….that’s all we are saying. Transcript:
ARE WE GOING TO GET BACK TO THE IMPORTANCE OF SUPREME COURT JUSTICES? (Nothing had been asked about the supreme court justices up to this point)
    WE’LL GET TO THAT.
    A ALL RIGHT. OKAY.
Q YOU GOT ALL MY QUESTIONS, GOOD. (what does this mean? You got all of my questions??)

Q ALL RIGHT. LET’S TALK ABOUT EDUCATION. AMERICA RANKS 19TH IN HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATIONS, BUT WE’RE FIRST IN INCARCERATION. EVERYBODY SAYS THEY WANT MORE ACCOUNTABILITY IN SCHOOLS?
    A UH-HUH.
Q ABOUT 80 PERCENT OF AMERICA SAYS THEY SUPPORT MERIT PAY FOR THE BEST TEACHERS. NOW, I DON’T WANT TO HEAR YOUR STUMP SPEECH ON EDUCATION? (Question NEVER ASKED)
A YES. YES. AND FIND BAD TEACHERS ANOTHER LINE OF WORK. (Interestingly, he answers 3 questions, the same number of questions posed to Obama on this section. yet he didn’t get any question posed to him, so how whould he know that there would be 3 questions posed on education).
    Q YOU KNOW –
    A CAN I –
Q YOU ARE ANSWERING SO QUICKLY. YOU WANT TO PLAY A GAME OF POKER?

Oh come on we all know when McCain is questioned by the press he appear to be in a stupor. McCain did not answer all question instead ranted on and on about his POW ordeal, cut jokes and took advantage of the large crowd to campaign. Either he over heard some of the questions (since he wasn’t in the cone) or he had prior knowledge of the questions, be for real.

There was no cheating. Obama supporters are just using this as an excuse for Obama’s totally losing it. I watched the entire forum and have it recorded. It’s apparent who was trying to find the politically correct response for every question. McCain was fantastic. Plain and simple.

First of all, this wasn’t a format in which one wins and the other loses. It was more a showcase of the differences in style, approach and philosophy. I can’t help that you and some other pundits don’t get that, and are intellectually incapabale of letting go of the football-game metaphor when considering the presidential campaigns.

As for what was plainly obvious to ME, it was Obama’s ability to consider complex issues in a more rounded fashion, his interest in consensus where appropriate, his (genuine) regard for family and faith-based values, and his unwillingness to enforce his own personal beliefs on people (for instance, abortion).

Meanwhile, McCain “came off good.” He answered quickly and decisively, and it was very clear where he stood on specific issues. But was that REALLY good?

After thinking about it for a short while, I thought he answered too rapidly, sometimes arrogantly fast and we weren’t able to see how he thinks or considers things. He kept turning to the audience and saying, “My friends,” and there was something lame about it. He made two things crystal clear. First, that he has his mind made up on certain things due to a black & white perception of the world, so flexibilty, accomodation and compromise can be considered OUT if he is in office. Second, he is a unapologetic bringer of the religious right’s agenda and promised to transform even our constitution if need be to turn America into a Christian country club where it’s ok to be gay or have an abortion as long as nobody talks about it or knows.

I also couldn’t help but notice that he sees the world mostly through the lense of the military. That’s nothing short of alarming.

I also couldn’t help but notice that he asked Rick Warren if they could “get back” to talking about court justices – yet they hadn’t talked about that at all. I didn’t get it and was confused. Then he answered Rick’s question about teachers with three responses – yet he didn’t know there were three questions to it becaues Rick hadn’t finished saying them. I didn’t get it, it seemed strange. After a while, McCain seemed like someone who was nervous at a big job interview. These rapid fire responses. He didn’t seem at ease, Obama was really at ease…very conversational. McCain was like a bad job interview.

Then I heard that McCain was “late” to the forum and was in his limo for up to 45 minutes of Obama’s interview. And I’m expected to also believe that he wasn’t listening to the questions? I don’t think so. In fact, it plainly explains all of his behavior to me.

No but John McCain did. From the time he sat down to the last story he told. He’d start an answer and then tell a story .Can you say SYMPATHY CARD?

Senator McCain was not even at the venue or in the said ‘cone of silence’ for well over half an hour into Senator Obama’s questioning/interviewing by Rick Warren….and his campaign insists they were listening, watching, etc….so I suppose that does raise some questions as to cheating, pandering or being fully prepped in some areas….

In short. The Obama media was not able to cover up his inexperience this time.
They media never gave McCain a fair shot so this time when the Obama media couldn’t have control of the situation McCain showed what he was about and so did Obama, inexperienced.

What they’re admitting is that McCain cleaned house and made Obama look like the inexperienced underling that he is. None of them expected Obama to be the flop he was and for McCain (that old guy with Alzheimer’s), to walk away with the prize.

Once again, they’ve selected representation that is weak, has absolutely no business heading a country, is inexperienced and worst of all, a screaming socialist.

They’re in trouble and they know it. Maybe they’ll wise up four years from now, but based on their track record, I have my doubts.
