Do you Hate Obama?

Obama want’s to take from one person, malevolently labeled “the rich”, and give to someone else, benevolently labeled “the middle-class”.

“Spread the wealth around”, sounds like he’s preaching that it is only fair to take something from someone else that you want simply because you have the backing of the majority and can. He is campaigning on the American Public’s susceptability to Envy that which his/her neighbor, and against the Public’s struggle not to harbor those feelings.Obama’s encouraging “Keepin’ up with the Joneses”, while claiming to be a Christian.

Back in the day, Rome had some of the stiffest and cruelest taxes and tax collectors… when Jesus was asked about the criminality of Roman taxation, Jesus responded, “Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s”

To promote his tax plan on the basis of “what your neighber has, so you should too”, is to pander to the sinful nature of man to put money before God, but Jesus said, “No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money”.

Jesus goes on to say, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life or a single cubit to his height? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. “For the pagans run after all these things…” ? It sounds like Jesus might infer that Obama’s pandering to the masses is perhaps a bit Paganistic? What say you?

Perhaps Obama’s Black Liberation-based Trinity Church was more influenced by Malcom X’s Nation of Islam side of that theology than Martin Luther King, Jr’s Christianity influence?

Sounds like Obama’s Trinity Church is more of a “give me all the Grace from the Bible, but I’ll take my Riches from the World” kinda church?

If Christ taught to not crave your neighbors wealth, then why is Obama preaching that you should be craving just that, and saying that such craving is only “fair”? And if Obama is about helping those below him on the financial scale, then why hasn’t Obama reached out and helped those that God has placed directly in his life’s path already? The ones that are less fortunate than him? His best friend Ray, for example, from high school is homeless, destitute, and stuck in a vicious-cycle of drug abuse in California today.

If a guy doesn’t help those he can help around him before getting elected, then how can you believe he wants to and will help those he doesn’t know after he gets what he wants from you–i.e. your vote? Mother Theresa never first asked for a favor from you before she helped the needy.

Maybe this is why Obama found it so easy to mock his own religion…

Umm, exactly my point… Obama is suggesting to Americans that his plan is okay, because us Poor and Middle-class should have some of what the Rich have, because we are the majority (that would be one of the definitions of “covet”)

I mentioned that and discussed just that… Obama is playing on our greed that we, the majority, should forcibly take from the Rich and give to the poor. His attitude of “stick it to the Rich guy” doesn’t feel too warm and fuzzy.
I’m not saying vote for him because he’s a Christian, don’t vote for him because he isn’t a Christian… I’m saying that if you are a Christian, and as Obama claims to be, yet
a) his campaign plays to societies sinful nature of greed and envy, not any wholesome value–i.e. legislating charity on a select few…(1 Cor 13:3 – If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.)
b)with all of his muslim upbringing and education combined with his choice of church being founded in part on Malcom X’s Islamic principles via Black Liberation Theology
c) He mocks probably one of the primary tenets of Jesus Christ in the Sermon on the Mount…
I’m saying as a Christian, Obama’s track record seems “shady” and “buyer beware”. That’s all.
As for the notion of “never judging others”… it’s “judging” as in do not condemn, not “judging” as follow blindly; do not question. If that were the case then no one should vote. As we’d be “judging” the candidates by casting a vote.

I am not condemning Obama or questioning whether he’ll be seated in heaven. I am saying that the gift of discernment from the Holy Spirit seems to indicate that this fellow professing to be a Christian doesn’t seem to embrace any of the qualities of the Beatitudes espoused by his self-proclaimed Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Himself. In fact, this self-professed Christian mocked the very Sermon on the Mount that his alleged Lord and Savior gave us the Beatitudes. If there was a scale between God and the devil… that speech Obama gave seems to be pointed in the wrong direction. And a church built on the teachings of Malcolm X so to avoid losing members to Islam?

I learned a long time ago that it ain’t God that ever moves further away from us.
