I’ve heard some people say that the stimulus plan will be a loan that we will have to pay back either next year or in a couple of years. They say that it is a scam so that we spend the money, boost the economy, and then have to pay it back.
Is Obama giving BP a free pass because of its campaign donations?

On Obama website he states that he is for free maket

Now look at his other policies that hurt free market…
1.Protect Striking Workers: Obama supports the right of workers to bargain collectively and strike if necessary. He will work to ban the permanent replacement of striking workers, so workers can stand up for themselves without worrying about losing their livelihoods.
2.Ensure Freedom to Unionize: Obama believes that workers should have the freedom to choose whether to join a union without harassment or intimidation from their employers.
How is any of this Free market?… companies can be held hostage by employees.
Diane if the govt. is telling businesses they can not replace striking workers and they can not protect themselves from unions then the government is controlling those businesses and it is not a Free Market. The govt. is controlling them and it has everything to do with unions.
I know this is a tough question for Obama supporters because as I said he contradicts himself on his on website but give it a try. Try to defend him. Please.
COME ON OBAMA SUPPORTERS, DEFEND THIS MAN. THIS IS STRAIGHT FROM HIS WEBSITE. Come on show me the light. It has everything to do with unions our biggest companies that hold up the U.S. hate unions. FEDX, Wal Mart, Hilton, just to name a few. Obama said this stuff to get the union votes, chances are he is going to let them down.

AURORA, Colo. — Aurora, Colo. school officials said that it was the disruption that an 11-year-old’s anti-Barack Obama T-shirt sparked – not its political content – that got him suspended from school last week.
But the boy and his father, who designed a shirt that read “Obama — A terrorist’s best friend,” said the youngster’s free-speech rights were violated when Aurora school officials suspended him for three days. The father said he’s considering a lawsuit.
