How come it seems like Liberals are always Extremists?

It seems like liberals have become so extremist that they talk about the Democratic Party the same way Bin Laden talks about Islam.
How come Republicans might still be pro-choice, pro-stem cell research, pro-marijuana legalization, pro-gov’t healthcare but Dems are never pro-gun, or pro-longer prison terms, or pro-war, or anti-welfare, or pro-death penalty?
How come it seems like Dems follow their party like a religion instead of thinking about the issues individually?
Do they think that Matt Damon knows better how to run the country than President Bush, or idolize Alec Baldwin more than Martin Luther King (republican)?
Do Blacks realize that the first Republican President was the one who ended slavery?
How come Dems think it is a good idea to raise minimum wage and increase taxes? Don’t they know that will RUIN the value of the dollar, hurt the poor the most, and eliminate small business?
Why would they NEVER vote for a Republican, even if he was the best candidate?
After some of the responses I got, I went back and read my question again. I think it is amusing that I am being called ignorant for asking question. I think that a few of you went off the deep end just as the question suggests you might.

Oianzinho-I appreciate the info about Edwards. I didn’t know that. Emotional baggage? I’m just asking questions. Relax. I think you are one of the extremists. I happen to be a pro-cannabis, pro-stem cell research, pro-nationalized health care, pro-choice Republican. So now you know one.

Peacedevi-I used the word SEEM also. There’s no sense in speeding up inflation by raising min wage and taxes. Is there?

Do you think his Insurance Reform bill is worth it?
Do you hope the bill will be reconcilliated?
Do you think it’s the job of the private sector to create jobs or the government?
Do you know that the government has already started doing so for the meantime with the recovery act?
Also, do you or do you not believe that President Obama has some sinister agenda to deliberately destroy the American economy and create some dictatorship type of government?
If so, why? Prove it?

Why do liberals believe that inequality and poor classes are not needed for society to function?

1. The poor do society’s dirty work at a low cost. It would be difficult for us to survive without this underpaid workforce. If it wasn’t for poor people, who would produce our stuff and do dirty jobs at low wages?
2. The poor create jobs for police and prisons. Police and welfare agencies shield us from the poor people and their undesirable behavior.
3. The poor serve as cheap guinea pigs in medical experiments.
4. The poor makes the economy more efficient. They spend their low wages on cheap stuff that would have been thrown away and work in dangerous factories at a low cost.
5. The poor make others wealthy. Many slum landlords and inner city alcohol stores would be bankrupt without the poor.
6. The poor provide the front-line soldiers for war. These poor youth can be sacrificed during battle at a low cost. Where else would we get the grunt-level forces and people willing to test roads for bombs in Iraq and Afghanistan?
7. The poor provide CHEAP AND FUNNY entertainment. Their lives of despair become entertainment and media for us to watch and enjoy.
8. The poor help motivate us. If we don’t get an education and work hard, and do whatever our bosses and government tells us, we will end up like them.
9. The poor help our self-concept. They make us all feel superior. We are not like them.
We need poor people for the world to work.

These whack-jobs aren’t Republicans or Tea Partiers and they haven’t said anything about healthcare reform. All these delusional nuts want to do is overthrow the government and install a Christian Empire, not protest HCR. First Glenn Beck exposes Van Jones for the bastard he is. It only happened on Glenn Beck’s show on Fox News. The next thing you know, President Obama fires Van Jones. He must have seen it on Glenn Beck because it was run nowhere else.
Then, the ACORN TAPES get run. Where? On CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNBC or any other competent news source that’s not Fox News? Nope. Fox News. Specifically the Glenn Beck show.
Next thing you know, the Census Bureau is severing all ties with ACORN. Does Glenn Beck control the Census Bureau? No, and neither does President Obama, but the President has a bigger hand in it than Glenn Beck.
Then, Congress votes to de-fund ACORN in perhaps the most bipartisan vote in Congressional history. All because of a story that ran nowhere else except Fox News.
How do liberals like Obama more than Bush, they both do the same thing?

In my opinion any liberal who hated Bush should equally if not have MORE hate for Obama, he is doing all the things they didn’t like Bush doing but on steroids.
More earmarks, less oversight, more scandal, corrupt picks for members of his Admin (the treasure secretary is a tax cheat), more signing statements, same time line for withdrawl as Bush etc.
He is doing all the same things but worse, how do they like him?

All he is doing is moving gitmo prisoners to a new gitmo detention facility somewhere else,a nd some he is releasing into the US. So he is doing what they did at Abu Gahrib and just moving them to a new facility with less heat on it, or he is letting them free. either way, bad idea.
Plus Gitmo isnt even close to the biggest problem in this country.
How can liberals compare mandatory auto insurance to mandatory health insurance?

First, auto insurance is different state by state. Second, driving is a privilege that you have a license for and do on public roads where you can injure other people.

For the record, I do think auto insurance SHOULD be required.

If you really believe in choices, then what about my choice to not accept this healthcare or have health insurance? Why should I be finned for not having something that I dont need?
I have no health insurance, I rarely go to doctor and when I do, I am able to pay my bill using their payment options. Im still alive. So why should I be forced to have insurance when it is my body and my choice not to?
