What Can Be Said About People Who Hate Bush, But Its Based On Logic?

11 Sep

I just read this and I can not believe it. My problem with it is the association of two, creating more of a monster to hate. Two very different issues.
I dislike George Bush for very logical reasons. One reason is that he is against stem cell research but he continues to send innocent Americans to Iraq to be slaughtered.
I agree this President has not acted upon his countries needs, but instead his own. I don’t need to express myself as anti Busher, I can’t go for all this dramatic over flowing bashing party like this person comments reflects can you?

I can say that they are stressed out by Bush to make them hate him. Hate is a strong word, I like the word dislike much better.

Are you a supporter of President Bush? If so, maybe that’s why you can’t believe what you have read. I don’t hate our President, but I do think he is a failure who refuses to see reality and insists that we will win in Iraq. I’m against his stance on immigration, against his forming a North American Union, against his pro-corporate America stance. I think he is also hard-headed concerning Alberto Gonzales. His choice of V.P. couldn’t be worse, his spending is out of control. His stand on stem cell research is stone age thinking, and he has done nothing to secure our borders while he constantly talks about a global war on terror. The only thing that I truly believe about hate, it affects the person doing the hating more than the person being hated.

It’s not that I hate Bush so much as I am disappointed in him and the people that reelected him after the disappointing first term, he has our prestige in the whole world at a low point never before seen, cost many lives, decimated our armed forces, spent millions on a needless war,(Afghanistan was where the problem was not Iraq) and convinced many of us he could not think his way out of a paper bag.

Tell the person that they have a good point & you agree with them on that point, but you don’t like the ‘savaging’ that politician experience, especially when they’re such an easy target.
    Good luck :-)

People sometimes forget what a strong emotion and statement hate is. Anyone can disagree with the President (whomever is President), but to hate him based on a disagreement in philosophy to me is more of a reflection on the person than the president. I voted for President Bush in both elections, do I agree with everything thing he does, no, but I will not resort to bashing him. I am no Clinton fan, but I will always pay the man the respect of his title, Former President Clinton. Look at the names President Bush is called, it is absolutely ridiculous, and reflects quite poorly on those who use them. Thanks

I don’t hate Bush. I don’t care enough about him to hate him. I do oppose him and want him exposed, put on trial and if found guilty punished for what is pretty clearly a criminal rampage against the people of the US and Iraq.

The people that don’t like what Bush is doing and all his illegal acts are viewed as not supporting the troops, hating America and liking the terrorists. Why these critics can’t see that we support the troops by wanting them out of arms way and trying to see that they come back safe, that we who are against Bush are Constitutional and Patriotic because Bush has done things illegally that goes against our Constitutional rights and freedoms. He needs to be held accountable and Impeached.

In the US about half the voters voted against the president so it´s only natural that those people should dislike him. Also don´t forget that what you really have is an elected monarch who has more power than any King of England ever did.

I disagree with your assertion that Bush has sent people to Iraq to be slaughtered., you seem to be very mixed up, they are going to Iraq to slaughter and kill the enemy. Do you think anybody in the military would go if they thought that was the reason for thier deployment? A mission to get killed? No sane logic whatsoever in that statement., also you logic on Bush and stem cells doesn’t add up. What makes you think he is against stem cell research? He is against wasting tax payer money on research that billion dollar pharmaceutical companys will not touch, because it shows little promise for anything. If it doesn’t have a benefit, why do it? You can’t let your emotions run the show. You have to use logic!

Hiding won’t help you. You are starting to grow up.
Don’t like what you see? It gets worse. Eat the gun

As a historian, I firmly believe this president will go down in history as the worst in my lifetime if not the last hundred years. The record goes far beyond Iraq too. His presidency, like most, has had a mixed bag of things done well and things done poorly. However, on a global scale he has harmed this country in ways that may take us decades to recover from. I know the evangelicals think he is the best thing since Jesus walked the earth, but their operating from an emotional view and often oblivious to the global political situations.
For the record, I do not hate because of party or beliefs. I rather liked Bush senior and Reagan even if I did not care for their political choices. At least I felt they were less driven from arrogance and were doing what they thought best for the country after some deliberations. I simply do not see that from this administration.

It just muddles the debate when people get irrational. I get angry when the conservative pundits try to make you think black is white. That infuriates me and insults my intelligence. George Bush is a failed president in every sense of the word and nothing anybody can say or spin will change the obvious.

Innocent Americans to Iraq to be slaughtered? That is those Americans JOBS, they VOLUNTEERED to go to War, none the less there not getting slaughtered; this is the lowest casualty War in American History.

Instead of sitting on your *** and complaining about it, perhaps you welfare-stricken liberals should do something towards getting him impeached.
