When the GOP retakes Congress in 2010, will they impeach Obama for his crimes?

27 Feb

I am seeing so many “Impeach Obama” stickers around my town it isnt even funny.

His approval rating in 30 percent and falling, and the Democrats will be voted out, fact. Thank you GOP for saving America from liberalism, fact.

A falling approval rating doesn’t mean he is impeachable…

If trying to improve your country is a crime, then let the proceedings begin.

    this is such BULL!!!!!!

    His approval rating is 55-60%

compared to Bush’s which was 10-20%

why don’t we arrest Bush and prosecute him instead for all his crimes such as misleading the American people and whipping his backside with the US constitution?

What crimes……..What could he have possibly have done in 6 months that would match up to an illegal war in Iraq and torture against all american principles. Wow, it is amazing how much people hate.
The GOP will not take congress, also.

Then you probably live in an area heavily populated by the Klan or an otherwise mostly white/conservative area. And, uh, what crimes has he commited? (p.s. “generation theft” isn’t a crime, and he doesn’t have to show you his birth certificate)

Of course not. The GOP doesn’t want to rock the boat because they have an agenda just like the Democrats – spend money, restrict freedom, ignore the Constitution and preserve their own careers.

I could only hope. I do not believe even if the GOP too every seat up for reelection they would still have enough vote to do it in 2010. However after 2012 they will have. But by then it will be too late to get rid of this bum.

I just hope that we can undo all his madness.

VOTE THEM ALL OUT STARTING IN 2010.

The GOP needs 39 seats to retake the House. As you would know from the previous 137 times I’ve told you this. It won’t happen. The GOP needs 11 seats to retake the Senate. That hardly ever happens.

So in January 2011 you can look forward to two more years of a Democratic-controlled Congress that will ask you the same question any thinking American would: “WHAT crimes?”

By the way, if the GOP has “saved America from liberalism,” how is it that people like you still view liberalism as a threat, huh? Come to think of it, if the GOP has “saved America from liberalism,” how is it that the Congress has the party representation it currently has, AND the Presidency is in the hands of a liberal Democrat?

You have no answer for that which will make sense, fact.

Nope. First, the GOP won’t retake Congress in 2010. If they are really lucky, the might retake the House. I think they’ll have to wait at least until 2012 to have any hope of retaking the Senate. Second, Obama hasn’t committed any crimes. There’s no grounds for impeachment.

I’m not an Obama fan but I’m not sure what he has done that falls under the “high crimes & misdemeanors” label.
Remember, Stupid and/ or Liberal aren’t crimes, just personality disorders.
I mean if they were, we’d have impeached Carter & locked him up long ago.

    To Super beaner :
Get your numbers right before you get all chesty

Bush’s #’s were about 30-35% AFTER 8 years in office & 8 years of abuse by the Demoncrats & the media.

Obama’s #’s are about 48-50% as of now, after only 7 months.
Yes he has been subjected to scrutiny by the Republicans, but the media have given him such a break that you cannot compare the two.

It would take a miracle for them to retake Congress. Obama despisers tend to clump up. And, as much as I hate to tell you, a lot of the drop in favorability is happening in moderate districts where Republican voters were giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Experts predict double digit losses for sure, but no change in control, and little change in the Senate.

Obama, even at 46% approval (the real number for today) is still the most popular politician in the country by +20% … more than twice as popular as any other politician in the country.

The polls I’ve been looking at indicate the general population is completely sick of Congress and wants to actually throw out every member of Congress that’s in office.

Purely looking at the numbers it’s entirely possible that, if the people actually got their way, every person in congress would be out on their ass, but there is a 50/50 chance they would keep Obama …

… these are just the numbers.

Why impeach him ?Did Oprah get caught giving him a bj in the Oval Office ?
I mean we all know that Republicans will only impeach presidents for sex crimes and not real high crimes and misdemeanors like circumventing the will of Congress to finance a dirty little war in Central America or falsifying intelligence info to justify taking this nation to war in the Middle East

the last time the Republicans tried the impeachment gambit without justifiable cause it cost them seats in Congress. 1998 was the first election held during a President’s second term in which the President’s party gained seats since 1822 during the second term of James Monroe. At least during Monroe’s time the opposition party had essentially gone out of business which is where the GOP is headed if they continue their idiocy
