Obama just visited our troops in Iraq and Obama has increased defense spending 4% and has budgeted the largest increase in VA spending in decades, so your contentions that he hates our military and is cutting defense spending are both inaccurate. In addition, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, appointed by George W. Bush and retained by Obama is leading the effort to reform military and defense procurement in an effort to reign in costs and get the most out of the dollars we spend. It is the sensible and right thing to do and Mr. Gates fully supports the effort.

uh….ok first of all, are you communist or something? because “comrade” is what all the commies called each other. just sayin.
and also, he doesnt hate the military! you are so quick to come to judgemental conclusions. in case you havent exactly noticed, we are in a terrible economic recession that is the worst one since the great depression. he has to cut back spending on EVERYTHING, not just the military. and, if you havent noticed this either, we spend billions of dollars on the military already every year. cutting back a few million is perfectly in line.
do you hear yourself? do you REALLY think our president would hate the military? you crazy.

Look at your Lib answers. Falling all over Obama and ignoring the facts. Public Record… Obama said himself that he was going to cut the military period. Libs believe that they can give big hugs and sweet kisses to terrorists and Kim I’m ILL in North Korea. I will bet 100 pay pal dollars that within a year Obama gives the ILL one at least 1 billion dollars to stop firing his rockets. Any takers.

If he hates the military, it’s not evidenced by spending, but by his sending troops to Afghanistan.
You know he hates the military, because he’s a militarist.

Actually, military spending will increase by 9 million dollars under Obama. Further, unlike his predecessor, Obama will fully fund the VA for the first time in years.

back in the 90′s, there was a politician in Washington who wanted to slash the military spending by quite a bit. His name? Dick Cheney. what is your point, exactly?

You must not be watching the news.
President Obama was in Bagdad and the troops repeatedly shouted “We Love You!” to him.
They realize that he won’t screw them like little dickson bush did.

Because he’s a liberal who thinks that the way to peace is through negotiation, not the use of a strong military.
