I am a black guy, supporter of Barack Obama and also well educated and politically astute, so not prone to follow the scent of sensationalism and populist politics… but if Barack Obama loses it will break my heart. I won’t hate white women (of course not) but I will hate conservatives more, right-wing religious zealots and the GOP all the more because some of the attacks they have put on him have been extraordinarily bad in taste and has paddled more to the cultural divides so much more. I won’t hate them because they won but because they won by relying on the ignorant and perennially conservative. I will hate the people who stirred up rumours that Obama is a muslim, that he will be a symbol rather than a presence, that he is a terrorist, that the work he did in Chicago’s South Side was without any ‘actual responsibilities’.
I won’t hate white women or white people for that matter… just the people who played dirty and who just happen to be white. Sorry.

As an African-American I will speak for my entire race (since your question lumps us all together) and say no. Because you have asked such an intelligent, culturally enlightening and race uniting question, I will leave it at that. You truly represent everything that is great about America. “County First”, right? Thanks for playing and thanks for the two points.

anyone who does is a racist. why does it matter if he loses and is black. what happened seeing a person for what they represent and support and not what color they are. I also find it surprising that a higher percentage of black people support Obama than they supported kerry or gore in past election. shows a trend of racism.

I don’t know about hating white women but some black people — and some white people, for that matter — will claim it’s proof that America is a racist country, despite the number of black politicians and leaders already around.
